Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the policies governing product orders, payments, shipping, returns, website use, and general responsibilities when dealing with Smarter Solutions. By purchasing products or using our website, you agree to abide by the terms described below.

 

1. Credit Policies

  • 2% discount available within 15 days; net 30 days on approved credit
  • C.O.D. for pick-up orders
  • Products marked with an asterisk (*) are not eligible for discounts or allowances
  • No discounts will be applied past the 15-day period
  • Overdue accounts are subject to a 2% monthly service charge
  • Orders will not be processed on overdue accounts or accounts exceeding approved credit limits

 

2. Placing Orders

Orders may be submitted via:

  • Phone
  • Email
  • Online ordering

 

3. Methods of Payment

  • Credit Card (2.7% fee applies for orders of $10,000 or more)
  • Debit
  • Net 30 terms (subject to approval)
  • E-transfer to accounts@smartersolutionsplus.com
  • EFT/Wire Transfer (bank, branch, account number, and SWIFT code required)

 

4. Shipping

  • C.O.D.
  • F.O.B. customer location
  • Prepaid shipping requires a minimum order weight of 350 kg
  • Any freight damage or shortage must be resolved with the carrier at the time of delivery
  • Smarter Solutions does not issue credits for shipping discrepancies
  • Tailgate or inside deliveries may incur additional charges
  • Special delivery requirements may also incur additional charges

 

5. Freight Rates (GTA Only)

(Mississauga north to Richmond Hill, east to Pickering/Ajax)

Rates outside this area will depend on destination.

  • 4 kg – 120 kg: $65.00
  • 121 kg – 235 kg: $55.00
  • 236 kg – 349 kg: $45.00
  • 350 kg and above: Prepaid

 

6. Product Returns

  • Returns require authorization from Marketing or Customer Care
  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted
  • Return period: 15 days
  • Returned products must be in original condition
  • Opened cases will not be accepted
  • All authorized returns are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee

 

7. Sales Tax (Ontario)

  • GST is not included in listed prices
  • All applicable taxes will be added at checkout

 

8. General Terms

  • Prices may change without notice
  • Smarter Solutions reserves the right to limit quantities or allocate supply
  • Invoice pricing is based on rates in effect on the date of shipment

 

9. Website Usage Terms

By using the Smarter Solutions website, you agree not to:

  • Post or upload material that is discriminatory, hateful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, abusive, harassing, profane, sexually explicit, invasive of privacy, inflammatory, misleading, or unlawful
  • Post copyrighted materials without the appropriate rights or permissions
  • Engage in any conduct that constitutes a criminal offense or infringes on third-party rights
  • Post advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited solicitations
  • Upload harmful digital content such as viruses, worms, logic bombs, or corrupted files
  • Spam, cross-post, or post off-topic content
  • Use offensive or inappropriate usernames

You agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content you post
  • Smarter Solutions may remove any content at its discretion
  • Smarter Solutions may revoke commenting or posting privileges at any time
  • Smarter Solutions is not obligated to monitor or moderate comments but may do so when necessary
  • You will indemnify Smarter Solutions against any claims arising from your postings
